Hi there!!

Hi there! Wow... I have a BLOG!!! o_O hmmm... i don't know what to write... but let's start introducing myself!! I'm Tinyteen, and i'm asian: 3/4 Chinese, 1/4 Laotion - quite exotic huh? haha. i'm into loooots of things! i adore manga, anime and all kinds of music, ranging from classical to foreign!! now that it's summer, i have PLENTY of free time!! but since i'm 17, i can't find a job anywhere, and i'm quite exhausted. since i'm going to enter college this fall, majoring the hospitality (aka hotel/restaurent management), my major is requiring me to have 800 hours of "hospitality", meaning i have to work in the food industry basically. i've searched around my hometown (includes malls) and although restaurants and drink shops need the help, they want 18 year olds...so i'm quite depressed. but i'm an optimistic person, so i'm still searching!
since i have a lot of time on my hands, i'm always REALLY bored! so today, i went out with one of my best friends whom i've known ever since elementary school! she's quite the wild rock queen, and we went ice skating!! we only lasted for about 45 minutes though because all we knew how to do was skate, and nothing else, so it got boring. but after i dropped her back to her house, i went to BORDERS, my all time FAAAAAVORITE to just relax! and guess what! i have finally found a new FAAAAVORITE authoress~ so i'm quite ecstatic! Now i have four favorite authors: Meg Cabot, Sophie Kinsella, Kate Brian....and the new author...Maureen Johnson!! i think they are all amazing! (>v<) ~<3
so i was in borders today, practically living in the young adult section for about 4 hours just reading summaries after summaries...but nothing really caught my interest...until i accidentally ran into Maureen Johnson's "Girl at Sea." i absolutely love "chick-flick" novels (as my friend calls them) because i'm still one of those innocent girls still hopelessly waiting for her knight and shining armor (>v<) ~<3 style="font-weight: bold;">Johnson
's other books...as well as buy Meg Cabot's new book that i so happened to run into...i didn't have enough money to buy that since it was a hard cover...but i highly recommend "girl at sea" by Maureen Johnson! i'm going to keep my eye out for any of her new books...as well as catch up on her old ones. and i do hope that she makes a sequel for "girl at sea". i would love to see more interaction between the main character and her boyfriend!
